Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting for a Prison-Based Warehouse Operative at HMP Wayland, Norfolk. You will help run on-site warehouse operations inside the prison, supporting the Canteen Service for inmates and handling picking, packing and distribution of approved items.

We value attitude, clear communication and team leadership. You will work 40 hours per week with shifts Mon-Fri and UK bank holidays, and you must pass enhanced security vetting for recruitment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work inside a prison environment.
• 3 years UK address history required for security clearance.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• IT literacy for reporting.
• Clear communication in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations on-site at the prison.
• Line manage Warehouse Team Leaders and supervise prisoners.
• Ensure Health & Safety and prison rules compliance.
• Staff training and inductions.
• Meet and exceed operational targets.
