Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join our Water Team across the North and Midlands offices with a flexible hybrid working model. Lead design of wastewater and water treatment elements, mentor junior staff, and support bids and client relations.

The role requires extensive water engineering experience, Chartered status, and a track record of leading large-scale projects, collaborating across disciplines and with clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive design experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of process elements in water infrastructure projects.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee delivery within budget and schedule.
• Support bid preparation and client liaison throughout project stages.
