Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal or Associate Engineer (Wastewater Network Modelling) to support project delivery, supervise tasks, and review deliverables. You will develop urban drainage modelling capabilities, mentor junior staff, and influence efficient delivery while working with major clients in the UK.

You will lead technically, contribute to business development, and shape the direction of a high-performing team within a global water network.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree and chartered, or progressing towards ICE/IEI/IoW/CIWEM.
• Ability to demonstrate wastewater hydraulic modelling experience and review others’ outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop urban drainage modelling capability and train junior team members.
• Support local technical delivery team leadership and project delivery.
• Provide technical input on urban drainage and wastewater projects and support future delivery approaches.
• Exercise independent engineering judgement and propose innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and coordinate project meetings.
• Participate in business development and proposals; promote the WSP brand.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
