Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Principal Trainer to join the Administrative Applications team. You will design and deliver training packages for staff on the One Devon Epic EPR, partnering with clinical, operational and admin colleagues across three acute trusts in Devon.

You will teach adult learners to use technology safely and confidently, travel between Devon sites as required, and occasional evenings/weekends around upgrade windows.

Job description

The Principal Trainer sits in the Administrative Applications team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and works within the One Devon Implementation Team, which covers three acute trusts in Devon. The post supports the shared electronic patient record being rolled out with Epic by designing and delivering training packages for staff. The postholder can be based at any of the four sites, with travel as required and occasional evening and weekend work around upgrades. Shortlisting includes a Sphinx test to assess suitability for the role.
