Job summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a fixed-term analyst to configure the Epic EPR within the One Devon Acutes EPR team, supporting clinical digital transformation and safe patient care across Devon. The role runs to March 2028 and involves collaboration with colleagues from three acute trusts.

You will translate business requirements into effective system solutions and drive the MY CARE benefits across the Devon acute trusts, with current MyChart certification

• Current MyChart certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure Epic EPR to support clinical digital transformation of the One Devon Acutes EPR.
• Apply expert knowledge of pathways and processes to configure Epic for clinically safe patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational and admin colleagues across Royal Devon, Torbay and South Devon and University Hospitals Plymouth.
• Keep Epic designed to deliver safe care in a clinically and financially sustainable way across Devon.
• Lead in maximising the benefits of MY CARE across the Devon acute trusts.
• Translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

This fixed-term role sits in the One Devon Acutes EPR team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, running to March 2028. The post centres on configuring the Epic electronic patient record so it supports clinical digital transformation and safe patient care across Devon. Working with colleagues from three acute trusts, the analyst applies pathway and process expertise and plays a leading part in MyChart benefits. Current MyChart certification is expected, and current NHS employees could be considered for a secondment.
