Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - Test Environments to deliver robust test environments for the GCAP programme, including test rigs, simulation environments, and test frameworks. You will work across subsystems, hardware-in-the-loop, and digital engineering to support UK and international testing.

You will have a degree in Computer Science or Software/Systems Engineering and experience delivering software solutions in complex engineering settings, with Agile methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software/Systems Engineering or related field.
Experience delivering software solutions in a complex engineering environment.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and test environments.

Responsibilities

Develop software and test solutions for physical and digital test capabilities.
Deliver test environments across levels, from subsystem to hardware-in-the-loop.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define Test Environment requirements and roadmap.
Support delivery of innovative test and compliance solutions.
