Job summary
Leonardo UK is seeking a software engineer to develop test environments for a major defence programme, from strategy through to implementation. You will contribute to GCAP test rigs, simulation environments, and automated test frameworks, working with MoD and international partners to deliver verified capabilities.
You'll have a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and experience delivering software solutions in complex engineering contexts, using Agile methods and HIL/simulation
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience delivering software solutions within a complex engineering environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop software and test solutions for physical and digital test capabilities.
- Deliver test environments across multiple levels including hardware-in-the-loop and simulation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define Test Environment requirements and support programme objectives.
- Contribute to GCAP ISANKE and ICs Test Environments roadmap.
- Support innovative test and compliance solutions across the programme.
