Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is looking for a Principal Software Engineer – Test Environments to lead the development of test environments for the GCAP programme, covering strategy to implementation. The role involves collaboration with MoD and international partners and can be based at any Leonardo Electronics UK site with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience delivering software in a complex engineering environment.
• Experience with Agile and full software lifecycle.
• Experience building test environments, test frameworks or automation.
• Experience with simulation, HIL, and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and test solutions for physical and digital test capabilities.
• Deliver test environments across subsystems through to hardware-in-the-loop.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define Test Environment requirements.
• Support GCAP ISANKE/IC Test Environments roadmap and delivery.
