Job summary
Leonardo UK is seeking a Software Engineer to develop test environments for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). You will contribute to test rigs, simulation environments, and integrated test solutions, collaborating with MoD partners and international teams.
The role supports both synthetic and airborne trials and involves working with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK. Ideal candidates have a degree in CS/Software Engineering and experience delivering software in a complex engineering
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Experience delivering software in a complex engineering environment.
- Experience with Agile development and test automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop software and test solutions for physical and digital test capabilities.
- Deliver test environments across levels from subsystem integration to hardware-in-the-loop.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define Test Environment requirements and roadmap.
- Support GCAP ISANKE and ICs Test Environments delivery and verification.
