Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Pricing Optimisation Analyst to join our Broker Home team in a hybrid role across London, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Chelmsford or Leeds. You will lead price optimisation initiatives, manage major projects and advise cross‑functional teams on pricing strategy.

You will apply advanced modelling (GLMs/GBMs) and data pipelines (Databricks, SQL, PySpark) to drive value, mentor colleagues, and shape the future of Home pricing in the broker channel.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance pricing and predictive models.
• Proficient in data pipelines and analysis tools (Databricks, SQL, PySpark).
• Ability to review and sign-off data pipelines, models and analyses.
• Knowledge of price optimisation and UK regulatory environment.
• Strong modelling knowledge (GLMs, GBMs) and ML applications to pricing.
• Experience with Willis Towers Watson Radar or similar software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong stakeholder management and project leadership.
• Ability to train and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement price optimisation for Broker Home products.
• Lead pricing projects and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Act as SME and train/mentor pricing team.
• Collaborate with pricing teams to deliver pricing strategy.
• Explain complex results to non-technical audiences.
