Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Pricing Optimisation Analyst to lead price optimisation within the Broker Home products. The role is hybrid across London, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Chelmsford or Leeds, with a focus on project leadership and stakeholder communication.

You will bring experience in insurance pricing, data science, and model deployment, advising teams and driving the pricing strategy forward while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Experience in an insurance pricing role with predictive models.
• Proficiency with Databricks, SQL, PySpark or equivalent.
• Ability to review data pipelines and models for quality.
• Knowledge of price optimisation and UK regulatory environment.
• Understanding of GLMs/GBMs and ML in pricing.
• Experience with Willis Towers Watson Radar or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead pricing projects for Allianz UK in the Broker Home channel.
• Communicate results to stakeholders across the business.
• Act as a consultant to Pricing teams and provide training.
• Upskill colleagues through mentoring and coaching.
• Collaborate with pricing experts across teams to deliver pricing strategy.
