Sweco in Glasgow is hiring a Principal Engineer/Technical Manager to lead highways and infrastructure projects across local, regional and national schemes. The role offers flexible working with at least three days in the office and scope to adjust start and finish times.

You will manage design teams, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, mentor junior engineers, and engage clients to deliver technically excellent, safe, and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• A relevant professional qualification, for example a degree in engineering.
• CEng certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present design options clearly.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and support technical development.
• A desire to learn, progress and challenge yourself.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage roads and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and safety.
• Take responsibility for design management and coordination of integrated solutions.
