Sweco UK Ltd in Scotland invites applications for a Graduate Highways Engineer in our Infrastructure and Environment Division. You will work with experienced engineers on projects across trunk and local roads, public realm and sustainable travel.

This two-year blended learning graduate scheme offers structured masterclasses, mentoring, and opportunities to gain professional accreditation, with a permanent position and industry-standard salary and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Have a degree relevant to the role you’re applying for.
• Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Are confident using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future. This is a permanent role, and we’re looking for candidates who can grow their careers with Sweco without a time limit.

Aufgaben

• Undertaking elements of design from road geometry, drainage, and pavement to road restraint systems and traffic signs and road markings.
• Producing design outputs such as drawings, standard details, specifications, schedules, reports and calculations etc, to achieve the optimum solution for the project.
• Providing day to day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
• Ensuring your design output is completed in accordance with the scope of works, timescales and budgets.
• Working in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required to deliver project requirements and added value to the client.
