Job summary

AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant to work on EIA projects across the UK. The role is hybrid with flexibility on office location including Leeds, Belfast, Birmingham, and more.

You’ll manage environmental inputs to screening, scoping, and Environmental Statements, lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, develop client relations and grow the environmental services portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental discipline; Masters preferred.
• Chartered Environmentalist status is advantageous.
• Experience delivering EIA and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping, Environmental Statements, and related documents.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and procedures.
• Lead project management, budgeting and resourcing.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
• Develop client relationships and pursue fee and proposal opportunities.
