Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant to lead environmental inputs to EIA projects across the UK. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing scopes, and ensuring quality across project lifecycles from strategy to construction.

You’ll engage clients and stakeholders while promoting environmental services and business development. The role offers hybrid working options and involves travel across projects; a Masters in an environmental discipline and Chartered

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods and planning legislation.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure projects.
Willingness to travel and work flexibly across projects and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

Provide Expertise: manage environmental inputs to EIA screening/scoping and related reports.
Ensure Quality: deliverables meet high quality standards and procedures.
Project Management: manage resources and budgets for projects.
Collaborate: work with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
Client Contact: manage client relationships and internal supply teams.
Growth: identify and lead business development opportunities and proposals.
