Stantec is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and EICA design across major water projects in the UK. Based in London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton, you will provide technical leadership, governance and help grow our Electrical Engineering capability within a leading multidisciplinary consultancy.

You will influence project delivery, mentor engineers and contribute to bids, ensuring engineering excellence across complex infrastructure programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• CEng or IEng, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience delivering electrical or EICA design within the water sector or similar infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering standards, governance and QA.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical and EICA design from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Provide technical oversight, governance and quality assurance across project delivery.
• Review and approve key electrical design documentation, calculations and specifications.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor engineers, support business growth and contribute to bids and framework opportunities.
• Champion engineering best practice and continuous improvement across the discipline.
