Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton. You’ll deliver robust EICA solutions across major water projects and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with project managers and clients.

Essential qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in electrical/EICA design for water or similar sectors. Hybrid/flexible UK working is supported.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design within water sector or similar environments.
• Experience producing electrical calculations, technical specs and design documentation.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and control philosophies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and EICA designs from feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
• Produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Diagrams and specs.
• Develop electrical calculations, control philosophies and equipment schedules.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.
