Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Principal/Associate Director level electrical engineer to lead electrical infrastructure projects within our Power and Energy Solutions Practice.

You will provide technical leadership across major infrastructure, energy, transportation, nuclear, and development projects, coordinating with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs and other stakeholders, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust connections and network solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required or desirable for Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, energy, transportation, or nuclear projects is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and integration of utility infrastructure (HV/MV/LV).
• Manage interfaces with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs, and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership for diversions, new connections, capacity assessments, and network reinforcement.
• Develop electrical infrastructure strategies and long-term power supply solutions for major projects.
• Manage risks related to utility interfaces, outages, and programme delivery.
