Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer in the UK to join their Design & Advanced Technology team. You will coordinate innovative projects and manage a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality technical deliverables.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, has experience in managing engineering teams, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. The position offers a hybrid working model, including three days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in coordinating or managing an Electrical engineering design delivery team.
• Takes broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
• Practical knowledge of water company design codes and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of engineers to deliver technical design work.
• Manage time and budgets of the Electrical & ICA team.
• Lead and produce technical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams.

Skills

Strong knowledge in Electrical designs

Ability to convey technical concepts clearly

Experience in industrial and process environments

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Chartered Engineer

Tools

Electrical design software (Trimble/Amtech)
