Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Principal/Associate Director level electrical engineer to lead infrastructure projects across energy, transportation, and nuclear sectors. You will guide utility coordination, network integration, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring robust, compliant designs and delivery across HV, MV, and LV networks.

The role requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering, chartered status (MIET/IEEE desirable), and a proven record delivering large-scale infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required for the role.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, energy, transportation or nuclear projects is essential.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV networks and utility coordination is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and integration of utility infrastructure (HV, MV, LV).
• Manage interfaces with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs, utility providers, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership for diversions, connections, capacity assessments, and network reinforcement.
• Develop electrical infrastructure strategies and long-term power supply solutions for major projects.
• Manage risks related to utility interfaces, outages, and programme delivery.
