Job summary

Environmental Resources Management Iberia is seeking an experienced Principal EHS Consultant to provide hands-on technical leadership within a pioneering technology organisation. Based in the UK, you will embed with the client EMEA EHS team and work with operations to improve safety and sustainability.

You will lead inspections, risk assessments, audits, and reporting to senior leaders, translating complex findings into practical actions while ensuring compliance with UK requirements and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS experience in industry or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Ability to lead delivery in operational environments with minimal supervision.
• Experience advising senior leaders and driving improvements.
• NEBOSH Certificate required; Diploma preferred.
• Experience with Enablon is a plus but not required.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of EHS priorities across client operations, including site inspections and assurance activities.
• Evaluate hazards, define controls, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Lead EHS audits and risk assessments with robust technical advice.
• Provide oversight on construction safety, workplace safety, and hygiene risks.
• Interpret findings and data to identify trends and priorities for intervention.
• Deliver clear, decision-focused reporting to client leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with EHS leadership and site teams to implement sustainable programs and address gaps.
• Advise on UK health, safety and environment requirements and internal standards.
