Job summary

SLR Consulting is recruiting an Associate EHS Consultant to join the UK EMPC team. You will deliver end-to-end environmental, health and safety advisory services across sectors, partner with stakeholders, and support clients in regulatory compliance and risk management.

The role offers hybrid working from Manchester or Bristol, mentoring and a clear career framework within a global sustainability network. NEBOSH is preferred and consultancy experience is valued.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Experience undertaking EHS audits; Lead Auditor qualification desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrable business development and client relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end EHS consultancy projects across a variety of industry sectors.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to help clients improve environmental, health and safety performance.
• Support clients in meeting regulatory compliance requirements and managing environmental obligations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS legislation, industry developments and best practice.
• Contribute to business development activities, identifying opportunities to win new work and develop client relationships.
• Plan and manage workloads effectively, supporting junior team members where required to achieve project objectives.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a positive, professional and collaborative approach in all aspects of your work.
