Job summary

ERM is seeking an experienced Principal EHS Consultant to provide technical leadership and drive delivery of EHS priorities within a pioneering technology organisation in the UK. You will operate as an embedded member of the client EMEA EHS team, advising operational leaders and driving improvements across UK operations.

You will lead inspections, risk assessments, audits, and the development of practical, scalable EHS programs that meet UK requirements and ERM standards, partnering with site

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS delivery in industry or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Ability to lead delivery with minimal supervision.
• Experience advising senior leaders and site teams.
• Full UK driving licence or ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of EHS priorities across client operations.
• Plan inspections, walkarounds, and assurance activities.
• Evaluate hazards, define controls, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead EHS audits and risk assessments with technical advice.
• Provide oversight on construction safety and occupational hygiene.
• Translate findings into practical action plans for leadership.
• Collaborate with EHS leadership to implement sustainable programs.
