Job summary
SLR Consulting Ltd is seeking an Associate Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to join the UK EMPC team. You will deliver high-impact health, safety and environmental consultancy, partnering with stakeholders from operations to senior leadership to improve compliance, risk management and EHS performance.
You will join a growing UK team, with opportunities to work across mainland Europe and with SLR colleagues worldwide.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Experience undertaking EHS audits, with Lead Auditor qualification desirable.
- A degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end EHS consultancy projects across multiple industry sectors.
- Provide practical, commercially-focused advice to improve EHS performance.
- Support clients in regulatory compliance and environmental obligations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship building.
- Plan and manage workloads, mentoring junior team members as needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a positive, collaborative approach in all activities.
