Job summary
Gearset is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to scale and secure our SaaS platform using Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform. You’ll enable rapid, reliable product development and deploys from development to production.
You’ll collaborate with developers to maintain harmony between apps and infrastructure, drive security improvements, and guide a self-directed team with a clear roadmap and autonomy.
Qualifications
- Extensive AWS experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS) with security focus.
- Production Kubernetes experience and cluster management.
- Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- CI/CD pipeline configuration and operation.
- Experience supporting hosted multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
- Strong feedback culture and collaboration.
- Pragmatic, iterative approach delivering value.
Responsibilities
- Operate and evolve infrastructure to scale for a growing user base.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure harmony between apps and infra, safe rollouts.
- Lead initiatives to fortify security and protect customer data.
- Work with Gearset teams to deliver infra supporting impactful work.
- Contribute experience to a self-directed team with autonomous roadmap.
