Job summary

Gearset is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to drive our multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure, built on AWS and Kubernetes. You will own critical production systems with high autonomy, shaping the technical roadmap while ensuring reliable, secure releases several times a day.

You’ll collaborate with developers, data engineers, designers and sales to deliver scalable infrastructure that grows with Gearset’s global footprint, maintaining strong security postures and observability.

Qualifications

In-depth AWS experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, EKS).
Production-grade Kubernetes operations and cluster management.
Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning.
Experience configuring and running CI/CD pipelines.
Experience supporting hosted multi-tenant SaaS at scale.

Responsibilities

Operate and evolve multi-region infrastructure in AWS/Kubernetes to scale the user base.
Collaborate with developers to ensure safe, smooth rollouts of changes.
Lead security initiatives to protect customer data.
Build and maintain automation enabling frequent production releases.
Partner across teams to deliver infrastructure enabling product impact.
