Job summary

Ll Oefentherapie is seeking a senior construction lead to manage data center projects in the UK. You will direct site activities, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold safety, quality, and budget targets across power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

You will create, review, and maintain design, commissioning, and problem‑solving documentation, and lead risk reviews to develop tailored mitigations.

• Creates, reviews, and maintains design, commissioning, and problem-solving documentation.
• Implements and oversees quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet design specs and industry standards.
• Conducts detailed site walks and leads startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects; develops tailored risk mitigations.
• Serves as primary liaison with colocation providers and negotiates/contracts with external vendors and contractors to align with approved designs.
• Oversees installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

Job description

Leads the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Creates, reviews, and maintains documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers.

Implements and oversees quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.

Conducts detailed site walks and leads the startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects. Identifies gaps in risk identification and mitigation and develops tailored solutions to address these gaps.

Serves as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers. Selects, negotiates, and manages contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and performance and construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications.

Oversees the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
