You will oversee documentation, risk mitigation, and the startup/commissioning phases, acting as the primary liaison with providers and managing external contracts for power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction of data centers by colocation providers.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Create, review, and maintain documentation including design reviews, commissioning, and problem-solving papers.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet design specs and industry standards.
• Conduct detailed site walks and lead startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects.
• Identify gaps in risk identification and mitigation and develop tailored solutions.
• Serve as the primary contact between the company and colocation providers.
• Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and alignment with approved designs.
• Oversee installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
