AECOM is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to support Renewables & Transmission and Distribution projects across the UK. Based in hybrid offices including Edinburgh, Glasgow or other UK locations, you’ll lead technical delivery for energy projects and help shape sustainable infrastructure.

You’ll oversee feasibility through detailed design, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, liaise with clients, and mentor junior staff, with strong career progression in a global firm.

Formación

• BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering is required.
• Chartered status or working toward chartership with ICE or equivalent.
• Experience delivering complex multi-disciplinary energy transition projects in the UK.
• Experience in UK Transmission & Distribution (11kV–400kV) is highly desirable.
• Strong reporting, design and leadership capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead verification on feasibility studies and design reports.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and manage client liaison.
• Lead civil infrastructure design including roads, drainage, and external works.
• Prepare and review calculations and drawings to UK standards.
• Mentor junior staff and support project delivery.
• Ensure delivery within timescales and budgets.
