Job summary

AECOM Limited is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the expansion of our energy team, spanning Renewables, Transmission and Distribution across the UK and beyond. You will work on cutting-edge projects with a flexible hybrid working model across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, and more.

The role requires a strong technical background in civil/structural design, collaboration with major energy utilities, and a commitment to career progression within a global infrastructure leader.

Qualifications

Degree in civil engineering (BEng Hons).
Chartered status or actively pursuing chartership.
Experience in civil/structural design and energy infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

Liaise with clients and manage day-to-day project work within budget and timescales.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams.
Lead the design of civil infrastructure including roads, drainage and external works.
Prepare and review calculations, drawings and specifications per UK standards.
Conduct site inspections and respond to technical queries.
Produce high-quality reports and design documentation.
Mentor junior staff.
