Job summary

Floreat Wandsworth Primary School in Earlsfield, Greater London, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils, including 1:1 and small group work, with a focus on developing literacy and numeracy and social and emotional skills.

Experience with SEN is welcome; the role offers CPD, a caring team, and GLF Schools’ employment package including pension, flexible working and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work with pupils in 1:1 and group settings.
• Positive and calm approach to managing pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to improve learning outcomes.
• Assist with classroom activities and manage behaviour positively.
• Contribute to pupils' social and emotional development.
