Job summary

GLF Schools is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning and social development at Floreat Wandsworth Primary School. The role is a temporary maternity cover with a 37.5-hour week, 8am–4pm, term-time (39 weeks). Start ASAP, with involvement in a collaborative, supportive team and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
• A passion for working with primary aged children in a 1:1 and a group scenario, and a determination that they will become knowledgeable and virtuous.
• A desire to work with honesty, perseverance and curiosity, and in service of all the learners in our school.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to manage pupils in a positive and calm way so that they achieve the highest standards in their learning.
