Job summary

Floreat Wandsworth Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support young learners, contribute to their learning, and nurture social and emotional development. This temporary maternity cover role offers CPD opportunities and the support of a collaborative, caring team within GLF Schools.

Applicants should have a passion for working with primary pupils in 1:1 and group settings, with good literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
• A passion for working with primary aged children in a 1:1 and a group scenario, and a determination to help learners grow.
• A desire to work with honesty, perseverance and curiosity, and in service of all the learners in our school.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to manage pupils in a positive and calm way to achieve high standards in learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in 1:1 and small group settings to raise attainment.
• Promote social and emotional development and wellbeing.
• Work as part of a caring team to deliver inclusive learning experiences.
