Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in NG9 on a flexible supply basis. You will bring KS1/KS2 experience and adapt lessons across year groups, helping children stay happy, secure and included.

Qualifications

What will your role include?

• Delivering engaging KS1 / KS2 lessons that spark curiosity and enthusiasm.

• Creating a positive classroom with clear expectations and consistent routines.
• Working with colleagues to maintain continuity and share feedback on pupil progress.

What will the successful Primary Teacher bring?

You ll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a sound understanding of the KS1 / KS2 curriculum, alongside the ability to turn it into lessons children want to be part of.

We re looking for someone with warmth, enthusiasm and high expectations: a teacher who notices individual strengths, creates an inclusive classroom and brings calm, consistent behaviour management. A collaborative approach and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. You must have an Enhanced DBS, registered onto the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
