Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher to support a welcoming school in DE7, where teamwork, curiosity and care shape everyday learning.

You'll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience with the UK primary curriculum, including KS1/KS2 teaching and learning. The role is on a flexible supply basis, with potential to develop into a longer-term placement.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK primary curriculum experience.
• Solid understanding of KS1/KS2 teaching and learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1/KS2 lessons that engage and involve pupils.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and support SEND.

What will your role include?

What will the successful Primary Teacher bring?

You ll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching the UK primary curriculum, with a sound understanding of KS1 / KS2 teaching and learning. We re looking for someone approachable, caring and adaptable, who brings high expectations and makes time to understand the children in their classroom. You ll enjoy sharing ideas with colleagues, use calm and consistent behaviour management, and support pupils confidence alongside their academic progress. A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply, are essential.
