TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher to support a welcoming school in DE7, East Midlands. The role is temporary with potential to become long-term for the right candidate, offering a flexible supply basis and opportunities to extend your experience across KS1/KS2.

You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt to pupil needs (including SEND), and maintain a positive, collaborative classroom. A DBS check and safeguarding commitment are essential.

What will your role include?

• Delivering engaging KS1 / KS2 lessons that encourage curiosity and participation.

• Working with colleagues to maintain continuity and share feedback on learning.

What will the successful Primary Teacher bring?

You’ll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching the UK primary curriculum, with a sound understanding of KS1 / KS2 teaching and learning. We’re looking for someone approachable, caring and adaptable, who brings high expectations and makes time to understand the children in their classroom. You’ll enjoy sharing ideas with colleagues, use calm and consistent behaviour management, and support pupils’ confidence alongside their academic progress. A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply, are essential.
