Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking qualified Primary Teachers for supply work in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term covers and longer placements across KS1 and KS2. You will work with local schools delivering engaging lessons in a positive classroom environment.

ECTs are welcome, QTS is required, and a professional, adaptable approach is essential. Competitive daily rates and ongoing consultant support are provided through TeacherActive.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence teaching across KS1 and/or KS2.
• A positive, adaptable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Work across KS1 and KS2 and adapt to different year groups.
• Be flexible to take on day-to-day supply, short-term or longer placements.
• Collaborate with school staff and the TeacherActive consultant throughout placements.
