Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Harrogate is seeking a proactive Primary KS2 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 for day-to-day or long-term contracts with an immediate start. The successful candidate will hold QTS, have KS2 experience and strong knowledge of SATs requirements, and will deliver targeted interventions, supporting pupils to improve reading, writing and maths.

This on-site, part-time role offers flexible hours, market-leading pay and access to CPD through the My-Progression

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs assessment requirements.
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation and targeted interventions.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Job description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schoolS based in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The schools are focused on delivering the primary curriculum and supporting children in developing essential literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging KS2 lessons, providing targeted SATs preparation and intervention support, and helping pupils develop their confidence in reading, writing and Maths.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs assessment requirements
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation and targeted interventions
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
