Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a KS2 Teacher for day-to-day supply or long-term teaching opportunities in a Bradford-based primary school. You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, focus on Year 6 SATs prep and provide targeted intervention to boost maths and English proficiency.

The role requires QTS (ECTs considered) and a strong command of the UK Primary Curriculum, with flexible work opportunities and competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or early-career teachers welcome.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 within a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and Year 6 SATs.
• Experience delivering targeted SATs interventions and supporting pupils.

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher. The school is committed to providing a positive and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.

The school is looking to take on a motivated KS2 Teacher for day-to-day supply or long-term teaching opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful KS2 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing targeted Year 6 SATs preparation and intervention support in Maths and English, and helping pupils develop the knowledge and confidence needed to achieve their best results.

The successful KS2 Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2 in a UK primary school

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and Year 6 SATs expectations

• Experience delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupils with SATs preparation

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
