Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a confident KS2 Primary Teacher to inspire pupils across Key Stage 2 in Wakefield and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible day-to-day work with potential to move into longer-term positions within partner schools.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS2, follow school planning and policies, and maintain excellent classroom management while adapting to different environments and pupil needs. Daily rates range £140–£170.

Yorkshire and Humber/ temporary / £140 - 170 per day

Our partner schools offer supportive learning environments focused on helping pupils progress academically while developing their confidence and independence.

We are looking for a KS2 Primary Teacher for flexible day-to-day work, with opportunities to move into long-term and permanent positions within our schools. The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 / KS2, follow school planning and policies and provide effective classroom management.

The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Sound knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
