Job summary

TeacherActive is working with mainstream primary schools in Harrogate to appoint a Primary Teacher for KS2, with immediate start options. You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, support SATs preparation and intervention work, and help pupils build confidence in reading, writing and maths.

The role offers day-to-day or long-term opportunities through a dedicated recruitment team, with flexible working patterns and ongoing CPD through My-Progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs assessment requirements.
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation and targeted interventions.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schoolS based in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The schools are focused on delivering the primary curriculum and supporting children in developing essential literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging KS2 lessons, providing targeted SATs preparation and intervention support, and helping pupils develop their confidence in reading, writing and Maths.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs assessment requirements
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation and targeted interventions
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
