Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary Teacher in Wakefield for day-to-day or long-term KS2 cover. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned to the Primary Curriculum and provide SATs support to help pupils build knowledge and confidence for assessments.

Applicants should have QTS (ECTs welcomed), UK primary teaching experience, strong KS2 knowledge, and excellent classroom management with a flexible teaching approach. The role is paid via PAYE through TeacherActive.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher to provide day-to-day or long-term cover within Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teacher will deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary Curriculum, providing focused SATs support and helping pupils develop the knowledge and confidence required for their assessments.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 / KS2 curriculum
• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation
• Excellent classroom management
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
