Role: Primary Class Teacher (Year 5)

Location: Tower Hamlets – near Aldgate East Station

Start date: Monday 5th January 2026

Contract: Full‑time, long‑term

Salary: Competitive – main pay scale (Inner London)

About the role

A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced Primary Class Teacher to take on a Year 5 class from Monday 5th January 2026. This is a full‑time, class‑based role with full teaching responsibilities, continuing until at least the end of the summer term.

The school promotes a calm, inclusive learning environment and has a strong community feel. The successful teacher will bring excellent behaviour management, high expectations, and the ability to plan engaging lessons that support strong progress across upper Key Stage 2.

Key responsibilities
