Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting two Primary Care Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) for the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) service in General Practices within East Health and Social Care Partnership. You will be part of an integrated nursing team and the broader practice multidisciplinary team.

The role is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00, and offered on a permanent basis. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Community/General Practice experience is desirable but not essential.
• Learning required to fulfil responsibilities will be supported in practice.
• Interest in a career in Primary/Community Care.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of quality person-centred nursing care and defined nursing interventions.
• Work primarily in the Community Treatment and Care Room Setting within a practice population.
• Collaborate with the wider locality and nursing team to ensure safe care.
