Job summary

MacGregor Black partners with a leading business to appoint a Pricing Controller based in Wembley. This permanent role leads pricing governance and develops pricing and promotional strategies to balance growth with profitability.

You will collaborate with Finance, Category, Supply Chain and IT to model scenarios, validate margin performance and drive ROI. A strong analytics background and leadership of pricing analysts are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pricing, commercial, revenue management or analytical experience.
• Experience in Retail, Wholesale, FMCG or consumer goods environments.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing sales growth with margin optimisation.
• Experience building pricing models, scenario planning and price elasticity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing governance across Commercial, Category, Finance, Supply Chain and IT functions.
• Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies balancing growth with profitability.
• Partner with Category teams to establish pricing, promotions, KVIs and supplier-funded initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance to model pricing scenarios, validate margin performance and assess impact.
• Work with Data & Analytics to enhance pricing models, reporting and performance measurement.
• Engage with Supply Chain to align promotions with stock availability and operations.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Pricing Analysts for high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes, governance, reporting and ROI.
• Represent Pricing in senior trading meetings and cross-functional steering groups.
• Support adoption of new pricing tools and ways of working.
