Job summary

Ageas is seeking a Pricing Manager (Data) to transform complex data into trusted pricing products. You will lead design and delivery of pricing data solutions, partner with Data teams to standardise data, and ensure high-quality analytics across the pricing function.

You will manage pricing analysts, drive data-driven decisions, and build trusted relationships across Ageas UK and esure teams in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience with strong numeracy.
• Analytical role experience and knowledge of the UK Motor and Home insurance markets.
• Broad understanding of insurance data and products across datasets.
• Advanced SQL capability; Python knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of pricing data products in Databricks and support pricing reports and modelling.
• Define data requirements and naming conventions with Data teams, consolidating heritage systems.
• Oversee testing and reconciliation to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Manage day-to-day pricing data processes and ensure timely output for the Pricing team.
• Develop pricing processes by introducing new internal and external data across products.
• Coach and develop pricing analysts and plan workload with direct reports.
• Communicate progress clearly and support knowledge sharing and handovers.
• Ensure analyses are accurate and findings are clearly communicated.
