Job summary

Ageas is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst (Analytics) to join the Pricing Transformation team in the UK. You will build and maintain an advanced analytics dashboarding estate using Tableau and Databricks, translating reporting needs into reliable insights that support trading and decision-making.

You will collaborate with Pricing squads and stakeholders, manage data sources, and explore new analytics techniques to drive improvements across Pricing and Underwriting.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytics within UK motor and home insurance.
• Degree-level education or equivalent with strong numeracy.
• Strong data visualization skills using Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Databricks; familiarity with Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL; Python capability is an advantage.
• Knowledge of pricing reporting practices and modelling techniques.
• Experience with Radar and Emblem packages.
• Logical, well-organized approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Pricing Tableau and Databricks estate for trading and analysis.
• Partner with Pricing squads to develop dashboards and analytics projects.
• Maintain data sources behind dashboards; ensure accuracy and currency.
• Explore new analytics techniques, including automated alerting and AI practices.
• Identify analytical opportunities and raise them for investigation.
• Support pricing processes by incorporating new data across products.
• Manage workload and share knowledge for smooth handovers.
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Bring innovative thinking and proactive process improvements.
• Build relationships across Ageas and esure Pricing teams and wider business.
