Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will read engineering drawings and set up/operate press brake machines to produce components to specification.

The right candidate will have experience in fabrication or sheet metal environments, manage tooling adjustments, and maintain quality while hitting production targets. The role is based on-site with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience setting and operating press brake machinery.
• Ability to perform quality checks and ensure conformance to specs.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and in a team.

Press Brake Operator

Farnborough
£14.00 - £16.00 per hour PAYE 37.5 HOURS WEEK, DAYS!
6 month contract potential for perm after.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Farnborough, is looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who is confident working from engineering drawings and has experience setting and operating press brake machinery within a fabrication or sheet metal environment.

Key Responsibilities for Press Brake:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to produce components to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as required.
• Ensure production targets are achieved whilst maintaining high quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organised working area.
• Report any machine faults or production issues promptly.

The Ideal Candidate for Press brake

• Previous experience operating and setting Press Brake machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
