Orion Electrotech Ltd is recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operator to produce high-quality sheet metal components from engineering drawings. The role requires setting and operating CNC press brakes, changing tooling and performing machine setups while maintaining safety and productivity.

You will work a 40-hour week with regular overtime and an immediate start. The position offers earning potential with overtime and a secure, long-term career in a busy fabrication environment.

Up to £15.00 per Hour DOE Plenty of Overtime Available Immediate Start

Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a busy and growing engineering manufacturer?

Due to increased demand and continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a well-established fabrication and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Press Brake Operator who has recent experience setting and operating CNC press brakes and is confident carrying out tooling changes and working from engineering drawings.

The Role

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components to precise specifications while maintaining excellent quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating CNC Press Brake machinery
• Changing tooling and carrying out machine setups
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Bending and forming sheet metal components accurately
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Working towards daily and weekly production targets
• Safely handling materials and components
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

What We're Looking For

• Recent experience as a Press Brake Operator
• Experience setting and operating CNC press brakes
• Recent tooling change and machine setup experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication environments
• Reliable and positive approach to work

Salary & Hours

• Up to £15.00 per hour depending on experience
• 40-hour working week
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am to 3:30pm
• Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
• Approximately 10 hours overtime currently available each week
• Immediate interviews available
• Immediate start available
