Job summary

JobsTrackR in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join the team on a 6 month contract with potential for permanency. The role involves setting up and running press brake equipment from engineering drawings, ensuring components meet specifications and quality standards.

You will read drawings, adjust tooling, and maintain safe, efficient production. Overtime opportunities and a stable long-term position with a reputable employer are available.

Press Brake Operator

Farnborough
£14.00 - £16.00 per hour PAYE 37.5 HOURS WEEK, DAYS!
6 month contract potential for perm after.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Farnborough, is looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who is confident working from engineering drawings and has experience setting and operating press brake machinery within a fabrication or sheet metal environment.

Key Responsibilities for Press Brake:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to produce components to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as required.
• Ensure production targets are achieved whilst maintaining high quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate for Press brake

• Previous experience operating and setting Press Brake machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
